My name is Marianne. I’m a miracle seeker, writing enthusiast and aspiring blogger. I began blogging early last year on a WordPress blog here. I named the blog Grandeurvision to remind myself of the goal to create a life that is more; more than what it was.
It can be depressing at times to live daily with chronic pain and inflammation from an autoimmune disease called rheumatoid arthritis. It’s a challenge to keep the pace I use to enjoy so now I just go with the flow and do what I can. Blogging is one of the things that helps keep me focused on moving forward on my goals.
The idea for this blog came about during a brainstorming session with my friends Melinda, Grant, Sam, Melissa and Jana. Melinda thought of the name Miracle Mama, many thanks Melinda and to all the friends whose enthusiasm and support helped me move forward on the project.
It is my hope to inspire and encourage freedom from limited thinking, fear and doubt, helplessness and oppression through the sharing of miracle stories and magical moments that occur in the lives of many everyday. It is also my hope to empower those who want to live with wonder and awe about the unlimited possibilities we were born with. So if you’re looking for inspiration, may I suggest a subscription to this blog so that you don’t miss a post.
Since meeting Grant Rawcliffe I have experienced a few miracles myself which I’ll share more about in future blog posts. The inital theme of miracles and magic occurred at a workshop that I attended several months ago. You can read about it here.
I hope you will find pleasure in reading the stories and inspiration to share your own miracle stories or pass along those stories that you may find. Also, please feel free to make suggestions and contributions in whatever way ideas move you.

I think I had a miracle happen to us last week. We and 12 other people had just booked our non-refundable plane tickets for our wedding in Costa Rica in November when we found out I am pregnant and due in December. At $150 change fee per ticket, we couldn’t expect our guests to pay for our mistake but we were really stressing the $2100 it was going to cost us, especially with a baby on the way.
We all know that airlines never work with you on things like fees, but we tried anyway and guess what? They changed all 14 tickets FOR FREE. Does that count as a miracle or is it more a blessing from the universe?
